Paul Ryan's Castle Rock Event Canceled | |
October 29th, 2012 |
While the urgency of the campaign heats up, millions of Americans are facing real life challenges as the storm beats down on the East Coast. While we are not directly affected here, Governor Romney and Paul Ryan out of respect and in focusing thoughts, prayers, and resources to those in harms way, are postponing all campaign related events today and tomorrow. We regret deeply that this will impact our Castle Rock event with Congressman Ryan. We apologize for any inconvenience and want you to keep up the great work you are doing in your neighborhoods and communities.
The debate in Highlands Ranch between Congressman Coffman and his challenger is still scheduled for tomorrow at 8am. Details here.
"Out of sensitivity for the millions of Americans in the path of Hurricane Sandy, we are canceling tonight's events with Governor Romney in Wisconsin and Congressman Ryan in Melbourne and Lakeland, Florida. We are also canceling all events currently schedule for both Governor Romney and Congressman Ryan on Tuesday. Governor Romney believes this is a time for the nation and its leaders to come together to focus on those Americans who are in harms way. We will provide additional details regarding Governor Romney's and Congressman Ryan's schedule when they are available." --
