Douglas County Republicans Elect New Secretary | |

The Douglas County Republican Party held a Central Committee meeting on Wednesday, July 29th, 2009, to elect a Secretary for the party and a district captain for district 1.
Craig Steiner was elected Secretary by unanimous acclamation and, as per the DCR Bylaws, assumed the office of Secretary at the adjournment of the meeting. Steve Schwarz was elected District Captain for district 1.
Also at the meeting were candidates for governor Josh Penry and Scott McInnis, candidates for U.S. Senate Ryan Frazier and Ken Buck, candidate for State Treasurer JJ Ament, and candidate for Colorado Secretary of State Scott Gessler. Each of the candidates had an opportunity to share their positions with those at the meeting, and were thanked by party Chairman John Ransom for their attendance and participation.
