Defend 2nd Amendment in Colorado Senate | |
| February 24th, 2013 |
Democrats in the Colorado House have pushed their 2nd Amendment-infringing legislation through the House, and the Colorado Senate is now expected to hear the anti-gun legislation the fist week of March. The following Democratic senators need to hear from citizens that support the 2nd Amendment now, because they're already under pressure from their caucus leadership to infringe on our rights.
It's snowing, and you're at home anyway... so give them a call or send them an email!

House Bill 1224 – Bans magazines with a capacity greater than 15 rounds.
House Bill 1226 – Repeals current law allowing individuals with a concealed carry permit to carry a firearm for self-defense on a college or university campus.
House Bill 1228 – Imposes a "gun tax" for a background check when purchasing a firearm.
House Bill 1229 – Requires background checks for the private transfer of a firearm (a dangerous step towards universal gun registration)
The Senate is our last line of defense to stop these infringing measures from being sent to Democratic Governor John Hickenlooper for his signature! Please contact the senators listed above and ask them to defend our 2nd Amendment rights.
