Vote Geddes - Reynolds - Silverthorn - Benevento!

October 14th, 2013

Fellow Republicans,

Be sure to vote for the Republican candidates Dr. Jim Geddes, Judi Reynolds, Meghann Silverthorn, and Doug Benevento for school board when you receive your mail ballots this week.  The DCGOP is also recommending a "no" vote on Amendment 66, the billion-dollar tax increase.

The Denver Post has endorsed our slate of Republican candidates, "We'd like to see the reforms continue, which is why we're endorsing the four candidates who are committed to that course. They are Jim Geddes in District B, Judith Reynolds in District D, Doug Benevento (an incumbent) in District E, and Meghann Silverthorn (also an incumbent) in District G."

National Review has referred to the Douglas County School District as "the most interesting school district in America" and noted that "reform is playing out in a community where Republicans are the home team."   We are the home team and we need to win this election.

In addition to voting for the four Republican candidates, please help the candidates win by participating in our Get Out The Vote Effort.  Login to your account at dcgop.org and click on "Every Republican" to get a list of your Republican neighbors that you can talk to and remind them to vote.  The more neighbors you can reach , the better.  Please contact Secretary Andy Barnett or me if you have any trouble accessing the system.

There will be three honk and waves for the candidates this week, one in each major area of the County, from 4:15pm until about 5:30pm.  Wednesday will be at the corner of Highlands Ranch Parkway and Santa Fe, Thursday at Parker and Lincoln, and Friday in Castle Rock at at I-25 and Meadows/Founders.  Please join others in spreading the word to afternoon commuters.

If you'd like candidate yard signs, please contact Alexandra Harden in the Highlands Ranch area or Sharon Kollmar at 303-688-3359 in the Castle Pines area.  Margo Knutson is also expecting "No on 66" signs, and you may call Barbara Piper at 303-768-8370 for "No on 66" flyers to handout to your neighbors.

Thank you for all your work.  And remember, vote for the Republican candidates Dr. Jim Geddes, Judi Reynolds, Meghann Silverthorn, and Doug Benevento, and remind your neighbors to do the same.

Regards,
Craig Steiner, Chairman
Douglas County Republicans
