Fellow Republicans,

If you haven't already voted, please be sure to cast your vote for Dr. Jim Geddes, Judi Reynolds, Meghann Silverthorn, and Doug Benevento for Douglas County School Board, and vote NO on Amendment 66 -- the billion-dollar tax hike.

And then we need your help reminding your Republican neighbors to vote, too.  Every vote will count!

Don't let anyone tell you "it's not about the union."  It's not just about the local union, it's also the CEA union sending a letter encouraging people to vote for the union-endorsed candidates in support of "their union brothers and sisters." (Click for full size image).

Don't let anyone tell you that the union-endorsed candidates are just a local citizen effort.  The union-endorsed candidates are being supported by a campaign consulting firm that includes one of Obama's top strategists in Colorado, and they're offering people $12/hour to help "progressive school board candidates."  The ad on Craigslist has been deleted, but click here to see the advertisement that they posted. 

They were also recruiting people to elect their progressive candidates with an email blast to DU students and alumni (click here to see the email).   And the CEA union actually helped promote a recent protest that was billed as some kind of grassroots citizen effort. 

And multiple large, expensive, deceptive mailers are being sent to Douglas County voters--clearly someone with very deep pockets wants the union-endorsed candidates.

The stakes in Douglas County are huge.  It's the taxpayers, parents, and kids that need to be represented by the school board, not the union.

So vote for Dr. Jim Geddes, Judi Reynolds, Meghann Silverthorn, and Doug Benevento and vote NO on Amendment 66.  And reach out to your Republican neighbors to do the same!
