Union Money Revealed: It IS About the Union | |
| November 2nd, 2013 |
Don't be fooled! When the union-endorsed candidates say "it's not about the union," it really IS about the union.
According to the latest Colorado Secretary of State campaign finance report filed late last night, the unions are funding over 80% of the more than quarter million dollars being spent in support of the union-endorsed candidates in Douglas County.
According to the Colorado Secretary of State, the union-endorsed candidates have raised about $56,433.81 for their individual campaigns. That's dwarfed by the
$230,500 being spent by the union-funded "Better Schools Now" committee, including
$150,000 directly from the local and national union, another
$70,000 from a committee that is also funded by unions.
