Great news!  The Castle Rock Town Council voted 4-3 Tuesday night in favor of repealing the existing restrictions on the 2nd Amendment.  After many hours of public input, and having received many calls and emails, Mayor Paul Donahue and council members Jen Green, Renee Valentine, and Joe Procopio voted to support the Constitutional rights of the citizens of Castle Rock.

The final step will occur at the repeal's second reading.  This will happen at a special meeting next Tuesday, January 28th at 6pm, at the Castle Rock Town Hall, 100 Wilcox St., Castle Rock, CO 80104.  Your attendance at this meeting will be crucial as massive turnout and media interest is expected, and we must assume that those who want to restrict our Constitutional rights will turn out en masse.

In the meantime, please take a moment to thank the following four council members who voted to uphold our Constitutional rights at a time when the political fad is to infringe upon them.
