Douglas GOP County Assembly This Saturday [w/ HD43 CORRECTION] | |

IMPORTANT NOTE: All Douglas County assemblies--including House District 43--are meeting this Saturday at Castle View High School. The HD43 official call sent by snail mail stated an incorrect location for the assembly--but the HD43 Assembly is at Castle View along with all the other assemblies.

The Douglas County Republican Assembly will be this Saturday, March 22nd at Castle View High School, 5254 N Meadows Dr, Castle Rock, CO 80109. If you are a delegate and haven't already paid your delegate fee, please click here to do so now to speed your check-in on Saturday.
We will be voting to designate Republican candidates to the primary ballot for the offices of County Commissioner District 1, Sheriff, Clerk & Recorder, Treasurer, Assessor, Coroner, and Surveyor. We will also elect delegates to go to higher assemblies, including the State Assembly, CD4 Assembly, CD6 Assembly, and HD39 Assembly.
In addition, several house and senate district assemblies will be meeting in the morning before the county assembly. Please note the following assembly schedule:
Senate District 30: Starts at 8:30am (Check-in starts at 8am)
House Districts 43, 44, and 45: Starts at 9:30am (Check-in by 9am)
County Assembly: Starts at 11:30am (Check-in by 10:45am)

Please set aside most of the afternoon for the county assembly. We'll try to be as efficient as possible, but we have multiple contested races and we'll be hearing from the candidates before we vote--so we'll have a full afternoon of candidate speeches and voting. We'll wrap up the day with individual DCGOP districts meeting to elect--from amongst yourselves--which delegates and alternates will be going on to the higher assemblies (State, CD4, CD6, and HD39).
There will be food and beverages for sale by Douglas County Young Republicans, while supplies last. Please be sure to eat before the county assembly starts at 11:30am as we plan to go straight through the entire assembly until all business is complete.
