UPDATE - Assembly Information & Road Construction

April 9th, 2014

** TRAFFIC ALERT FOR STATE ASSEMBLY
**

Please be advised that US36 is scheduled to be closed for construction from Interlocken Loop to McCaslin Blvd. from Friday at 10pm through Saturday at 7am (Details).  Delegates to the State Assembly on Saturday should consider leaving earlier in order to compensate for potential traffic delays related to the closure and detour, or consider a different route (such as C470 to Golden, then US93 to Boulder).

** PARKING INFORMATION FOR STATE ASSEMBLY
**

Due to limited parking in the area of the state assembly, combined with a sporting event beginning soon after the state assembly, parking may be challenging. Click here for a map provided by the state party outlining parking options.  Delegates are encouraged to carpool and to arrive early for the State Assembly on Saturday.

The 4th Congressional Assembly will be held this Friday, April 11th at 9:45am at the Omni Interlocken Hotel, 500 Interlocken Blvd, Broomfield, CO in the Interlocken Ballroom.  Credentialing will begin at 8:45am.

Due to time constraints, it's important that you arrive early enough to be credentialed and in the room by 9:45am.  It is our understanding that CD4 credentialing will be shut down promptly at about the scheduled start time, so please do not arrive late.  Once the chairman of CD4 instructs us to close credentialing, we will be unable to credential you.  Please allocate extra time so you arrive early.

Only those delegates and alternates elected to the 4th Congressional Assembly are eligible to participate in this assembly.

STATE ASSEMBLY - Saturday, April 12th, 2014 - 9:00am

Click for State Assembly Official Call

The Colorado Republican State Assembly will be held this Saturday, April 12th at 9:00am at Coors Events Center at CU-Boulder, 950 Regent Drive, Boulder, CO 80309.  Credentialing will begin at 7:00am.

Only those delegates and alternates elected to the State Assembly--and who paid by the established deadline--are eligible to participate in this assembly.  You should have already received your state delegate badge from your district captain.  If you are a delegate or alternate to the state assembly and have not received your badge yet, please contact your district captain.  If you don't know who that is, click here and enter your street address and the website will tell you who your district captain is.

To the extent possible, please carpool.  Parking lots have been made available by the Colorado Republican Party free of charge.  Maps of the parking options may be found at Cologop.org.  There will be bus service from outlying parking lots to the venue from 5:30am until 4:30pm.

Republicans are encouraged to be out of Boulder by nightfall, because it's Boulder.

Important CCW note:  Since this is Boulder, it has been decreed that there shall be security at the state assembly venue prohibiting entrance with items objectionable to Boulder liberals--such as food, legally concealed defensive weapons, and beverages.  In the case of an unfortunate hostile situation at the state assembly, liberals suggest you take your printed agenda (which you may open-carry), wad it up, and throw it at any aggressive perpetrator and hope for the best.  It's the Boulder way.
