U.S. Senator Michael Bennet Town Hall in Pueblo

Senator Michael Bennet has just announced a town hall for tomorrow, Friday August 28th, in Pueblo at 1pm.

Only 100 tickets will be distributed on a lottery basis, and you must register for the ticket lottery by tonight at 10:45pm.  Details and the registration form for the loterry may be found at Sen. Bennet's website.  Registration does not guarantee a ticket, but you must register in order to have an opportunity to be selected for a ticket.

The event will be held in the Colorado Ballroom of the Occhiato Center of CSU-Pueblo.  Doors will open at noon and the town hall is to begin at 1pm.  

Given Sen. Bennet's general avoidance of voters during the August recess--especially Denver-area voters--this may be your only opportunity to engage one of your senators during the August recess.  The senator will be considering health care legislation when he goes back to Washington and it's important that he hear from the citizens he represents.
