A forum, hosted by Jack Arrowsmith, Douglas County Clerk and Recorder, is being offered to provide citizens, municipal government officials and special district officials with a glimpse into the world of modern elections and the short term and long term challenges anticipated from the perspective of the County’s head election official.

This is Mr. Arrowsmith's third such forum and it will be held on September 16th, from 9-11 a.m., in the Elections Observation Room of the Clerk and Recorder’s office, 301 Wilcox Street, Castle Rock, on the second floor.

The forums will facilitate discussion on election expenses, the mail-in ballot option, and other topics associated with the election process.

Tours of the Ballot Processing Area and Ballot Counting Room will be provided.

This is a very interesting opportunity to see how Douglas County conducts elections and counts ballots, and the safeguards that exist to make sure our elections are the most accurate they can be.
