The Douglas County Republican Organizational Meeting will be Tuesday, February 10th at 7pm at the Douglas County Fairgrounds Events Center.  Check-in/credentialing will begin at 6pm.  Details may be found by clicking here.

We will elect party officers (chairman, vice-chairman, secretary, and treasurer), district captains, and bonus members to the State Central Committee, the 4th Congressional, the 6th Congressional, and 18th Judicial.  Organizational meetings will also be held for Senate Districts 4 and 30, as well as House Districts 43, 44, and 45.

Candidates for Party Office.  If you would like to be a candidate for one of the four party officers and would like your name pre-printed on the ballot, be sure to let us know by Tuesday, January 20th.  A list of current candidates for party office may be found by clicking here.

Candidates for Bonus Member.  If you would like to be a candidate for bonus member and would like your name pre-printed on the bonus member ballot, email us at bonusmember@dcgop.org by Sunday, February 1st and let us know whether you'd like to be a candidate for State, CD4, CD6, and/or JD18.  Please make sure you receive a confirmation email back from us so you're sure your notice has been received.

Candidates for District Captain.  Candidates for district captain do not need to inform the party of their intent to run ahead of time.  A candidate must simply be nominated by a voting member from the precinct when the district meets to elect its district captain.
