Gardner Statement on House Vote to Authorize Aurora VA Hospital Spending
Washington, DC – Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO) released the following statement following the passage by the House of Representatives of a bill authorizing the spending of $625 million dollars for the completion of the Aurora VA Hospital:
“I commend my House colleagues, with whom I have worked closely throughout this process, on this vote. I will to continue to work with them to hold the VA accountable for its inexcusable delays and cost overruns on this project. Veterans in Colorado and the West deserve the facility they were promised, and I look forward to the President signing this authorization into law. It’s time to deliver.”
