Representative Kevin Van Winkle is a small business owner in Highlands Ranch, and a longtime advocate for free markets and Conservative Republican principles.  Van Winkle has deep roots in the district he currently represents – he was born and raised area – it’s where he started his family and his business.

Since being sworn into the Colorado State House in January 2015, Van Winkle has been recognized by several publications, such as the Denver Post and Colorado Peak Politics, as an “extremely effective legislator” who “holds firm to his conservative values”. He has earned “A” ratings from Principles of Liberty Colorado, and the National Rifle Association. In 2016, Van Winkle was promoted by House colleagues to become the “Ranking Member” of the House Finance Committee, where he has been widely recognized for his efforts to defend Colorado taxpayers.
