Volunteers for 2010 Events – 1st meeting on Sat. March 13th, after the Executive Committee meeting.
I would like to build a list of individuals that would like to help me with events for this coming year. I’m open to new creative ideas and feel we need to plan well in advance for success in each event. I hope to utilize many of your talents and form committees for each event. Our budget needs to be made up for each event/activity as well.
We will need creative talented individuals for some events, and organized hard workers for others.
I would also like to have one individual for each event that can be my co-chair.
We also need to come up with new literature to hand out at all our events this year – writers, editors, research.
County Assembly: 12 people for check in and verification.
Lincoln Day Dinner: Co-Chair person will be Maryann Baisley. Ed & JoDean have graciously offered to chair the fundraising events, will need Chairman’s Club cocktail hour hosts, layout of the program, Check in for event, etc. etc.
Parker Day Parade: Mike Maxwell and I would like to come up with a new look for our float. We will need handymen, creative / artistic design for bold new look, people to paint and to help organize volunteers to work in booth. Tom Vann has offered to help with Chairing the booths.
Highlands Ranch Parade: co-chair for helping with volunteers
Castle Rock Parade: co-chair for float and volunteers
Annual Picnic in September: co-chair, new theme, decorations, activities, MC
Chairman’s Dinner: moved back to Nov: co-chair, theme, MC, program
2011 Lincoln Day Dinner: Moved back to Feb/March: co-chair, theme, MC, program, decor. Note: The election of of the Executive Committee (officers and district captains) will take place in February 2011 but we need to have a committee and the planning completed for the Lincoln Day Dinner, regardless of who the elected individuals are.
