Republican Caucus is this Tuesday, March 16th 7pm

March 13th, 2010

The Douglas County Republican Party will be holding its 2010 Caucus this Tuesday, March 16th.  We are asking Republicans to be at their caucus location to sign-in at 6:30pm so the meetings can start promptly at 7:00pm.

To find your caucus location visit http://www.dcgop.org/Caucus and type your residential address in the field.  The website will automatically tell you your precinct, your caucus location, and your Republican district captain who you may contact for further information.

Caucus is grassroots politics at its best.  The caucus system enables candidates to meet and spend time with local citizens who have the opportunity to directly participate in the nomination of candidates.  Additionally, it is the opportunity to elect the precinct committee people from your neighborhood who will form part of the Douglas County Republican Central Committee and help set its course for the next two years.

If you've been thinking of becoming more involved, this is the perfect opportunity!

If you'd like to get a head start, some of our district captains are looking for individuals that are willing to help run this Tuesday's caucus:

Highlands Ranch
.  If you live in the the area south of County Line Road and between University Blvd. and Colorado Blvd. and would like to help Tuesday, contact Barbara Salisbury (district 15 captain).

Lone Tree.  If you live southwest of I-25 and C-470 in Heritage Hills and would like to help Tuesday, contact Kim Ransom (district 18 captain).

Parker.  If you live between Lincoln and Main Street, and between West Parker Rd. and Jordan Rd (excluding Stonegate) and would like to help Tuesday, contact Lindy Blackburn (district 22 captain).

Throughout Douglas County.  When you find your caucus location at http://www.dcgop.org/Caucus, if the website indicates your precinct has "Precinct Vacancies," contact your district captain as they may also be looking for someone like you to help.
See you at caucus on Tuesday!
