Are you ready to help win back the state and country in November?  It starts today! 

Republican turnout in Douglas County could mean the difference between a conservative or liberal governor, U.S. senator, and secretary of state.  Colorado is key to taking back the U.S. Senate, and Douglas County is key to Colorado sending a Republican senator to Washington.  The question of which party controls the U.S. Senate may be up to those of us right here in Douglas County!

It is extremely important that Douglas County have high Republican turnout so we can contribute as many votes as possible to these important statewide races.  Douglas County is solidly Republican and every Republican vote here offsets a Democrat vote statewide.  When we vote, Republicans WIN!

There are three ways you can help:

Victory Office.  From now through October 11, we need to staff our Highlands Ranch Victory Office.  The Victory Office is run by the state party and has a large phone bank so you can reach out to targeted voters in the county and get them thinking about their Republican candidates.  The victory office is at 9090 S. Ridgeline, Suite 103, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129.  The office is open Monday - Saturday from 9am to 9pm, and Sunday from noon to 9pm.  If you can contribute any amount of time, please contact Seth at seth@cologop.org or call him at 720-318-9472.

Knocking on Doors.  We also need volunteers who are willing to knock on the doors of Republican households in their neighborhoods.  This involves visiting your Republican neighbors, talking to them about our Republican candidates, and leaving them some literature.  We'll give you a list of the Republican households in your neighborhood.  This can be fun and also a great way to meet new conservative friends in your area.  If you'd like to help knock on doors, please email us at GOTV@dcgop.org.

Make Calls From Your Home.  Starting October 12th, we also volunteers who can make phone calls to Republican households to remind them to vote.  You can do this from the comfort of your own home using the DCGOP.org website.  This is a very effective and important way to turnout a large number of votes for Republicans.  If you'd like to help make phone calls, please email us at GOTV@dcgop.org and we'll get you setup.

We've been waiting for November 2010 for two years.  It's not going to happen by itself--it depends on all of us to volunteer our time and work hard to get out the Republican vote in Douglas County.
